as I scream with thoughts of hate and even greater pain
As life flows from these cuts I watch as the I put out the cigaret butt push hard against my arm
Red and black the signs of my pain coming back with each dream waking with screams my nightmares follow me
through my day
with long sleeve shirts I hide the marks
Fake smiles hide my pain friends see what they don’t know they probably don’t even care while I pull out my hair
scars on my arms heal fast with each slash I draw the pain in

I have hurt so many in my search for bliss
in my test of boundaries
trying to redeem
every little thing that changed my life burning bright in my eyes
as the sun sets on my life last thoughts in my life
the people hurt by the words I say
things I did just to fit in as the weight lifts from my mind burning bright in my mind the things
that I loved
moments in my past
as I gasp for the breath to grasp the
loving caring feeling seeming to roll away
